Indonesia at ADIPEC 2016

ABU DHABI - For the third time since 2014, Indonesia participated again at the event of Abu Dhabi International Petroleum and Conference (ADIPEC) 2016. The Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Arcandra Tahar is scheduled to attend the annual event held at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNAC). Beside joining the exhibition, Indonesia will also participate in several programs in ADIPEC such as Ministerial Sessions, Women in Energy and VIP Programme and Indonesia Country Briefing.

The Ministry of EMR becomes a coordinator of Indonesian pavilion that built on 164 m2 area. Indonesia Pavilion exhibitors include of Communication, Public Information Service and Cooperation Bureau, Directorate General of Oil and Gas, SKK Migas, PT Pertamina, and supporting companies of oil and natural gas. This participation will be a good promotional event for Indonesia to be able to open up business opportunities, particularly in the oil and gas industry.

The ADIPEC 2016 that held for four days (7-10 November 2016) with a total potential market of 125 participating nations is filled with Global Ministerial Dialogue, Country Briefing "Indonesia Investment Partnership" Women in Energy, Middle-East Petroleum's VIP Programmed Business Presentations.

The participants of Indonesian paviliun consist of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, PT. Pertamina (Persero), PT PGN, PT. Apexindo, PT. Rich Indo Energy, PT. Patra Nusa Data, PT. Medco Energi, PT. Means Indo Perkasa and PT. Meindo Elang Indah. Beside participated in the exhibition, Indonesia will also participate in several programs organized in ADIPEC 2016, namely:

1. Ministerial Sessions: Global Ministerial Dialogue on November 8th, 2016 is planned to be attended by the Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources as a speaker with the presentation "Investment for Growth, Sustainable Partnership for Oil and Gas Development in the Middle East and North Africa".
2. Women in Energy and VIP Programme on November 9th, 2016 attended by Yenny Handayani (Director of Renewable Energy Gas PT. Pertamina), with the theme Leading Energy Discussion: How Can The Oil and Gas Industry Support The Clean Energy Revolution.
3. Indonesia Country Briefing will be held on November 7, 2016. The format of this event is a panel discussion and the speakers presented a theme "Indonesia Investment Partnership, Exploring Challenges and Opportunities, Long Term Investment in Infrastructure and Energy Sectors." (NA)
